- Monitor and analyse regulatory developments and changes that affect the Bank's operations and products.
- Conduct impact assessments and gap analyses to identify the implications and risks of regulatory change.
- Develop and implement change plans and solutions to address regulatory change requirements and mitigate risks.
- Provide advice and guidance to business units and functions on regulatory change matters and best practices.
- Act as the subject matter expert for the regulatory change environment as it impacts on the Bank.
- Coordinate and communicate with internal and external stakeholders, including regulators, auditors, and industry bodies, on regulatory change issues and initiatives.
- Track and report on the progress and outcomes of regulatory change projects and activities.
- Support the development and maintenance of regulatory policies, procedures, and controls.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of the regulatory change framework
- A bachelor's degree in law, finance, business, or a related
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. Facilitate the development of innovative solutions to complex business problems.
- At least 3 years' experience in regulatory change, compliance, risk management, or a similar role in the banking or financial services industry
- Ability to develop robust solutions and structures aligned to key risk, compliance and regulatory requirements.
- Ability to recognise, understand and support need for change and anticipate impacts of regulatory changes.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills, including co-ordination of key programs of work or projects.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
- Understanding of market and external environment including banking and financial industry principles and regulations.
