    Troocoo, in partnership with this leading Queensland Government agency are recruiting this newly created position as the Director - Workforce & Business Transformation (SO).

    This position, sitting in the Deputy-Director General's Office will be working across a large work program supporting transformational change across the division.

    The three key pillars for this role arechange management, strategic projects/programs and workforce capability uplift.
    You will be the change agent and leader of driving cultural change across the organisation.
    You will be able to navigate ambiguity and adaptable to new and evolving landscapes.

    6 month fixed-term Government appointment | SO salary range: $155 K - $162 K + super + leave loadingAbout the role:

    provide leadership and operational coordination across the planning, management, monitoring and delivery of a diverse range of programs to achieve critical outcomes for the division
    provide expert leadership in the delivery of program management, funding, and performance management initiatives across the division
    ensure programs and leaders are enabled through effective systems, processes and removal of barriers that might prevent their success
    oversee governance, reporting and risk assessment and frameworks including program level reporting on key milestones, risks, benefits, outcomes and performance against identified KPIs
    provide strategic and operational advice on current and emerging risks and issues and develop innovative, practical and best practice responses to improve outcomes and act on opportunities for synergy and integration across the division
    undertake rigorous and complex research and analysis to draw accurate conclusions and formulate evidence-based advice on issues and reform priorities
    build, maintain and support high quality collaborative relationships, stakeholder consultation and engagement approaches across the division
    enhance organisational capability uplift by proactively and appropriately sharing insights, opportunities and recommendations and identifying and implementing areas of improvement
    support the Deputy Director-General on matters such as issues management and leading change where required.

    What you will require:
    Previous Government experience essential
    Previous change management experience and exposure to working in complex and ambiguous environments
    Extensive project management experience and proven track record in managing numerous strategic projects
    Extensive experience in driving transformational, cultural and business change
    Ability to engage with complex and intricate stakeholder groups, ensuring effective communication and collaboration
    Sound judgement and governance
