We are currently recruiting for a Aviation Cleaner to be based at Brisbane Airport on a Casual basis.

As an Aviation Cleaner at Brisbane Airport you will also be responsible for creating safe and memorable travel experiences for travellers and visitors at the airport.

The Position

As the Aviation Cleaner you will be responsible for:

• Ability to successfully pass Criminal History Check, Drug and Alcohol screening and Medical assessments
• Ability to obtain an ASIC (Criminal history clearance)
• Hold an unrestricted Drivers Licence and have access to or own a reliable vehicle
• Day-to-day running of the daily cleaning services within airport
• General cleaning duties (sweeping, vacuuming, mopping floors, dusting, cleaning spills)
• Operation of cleaning equipment
• Emptying rubbish/recycle receptacles
• Cleaning of bathrooms and toilets

Skills and Experience

You will have:

• High level of presentation
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Proven ability to work as part of a team and independently
• Commitment to working in and maintaining a safe working environment
• Ability to work flexible hours and public holidays
• Excellent mobility and physically able to walk for lengthy periods.
• Happy and friendly disposition
• Strong work ethic, reliable and punctual
