    About Macquarie's Engineer Team

    We're looking for a Full Stack Engineer to join our technical support team at Macquarie, a global financial services group with 34 markets and 55 years of unbroken profitability.

    You'll be part of a friendly and supportive team where everyone contributes ideas and drives outcomes. Your role will be crucial in maintaining the high performance and reliability of our applications by offering comprehensive support.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Taking a lead role in fault finding and resolving simple issues across web applications and server-side services and infrastructure.
    • Maintaining the high performance and reliability of our applications through comprehensive support, ranging from level one to level three.

    Requirements:

    • Proven experience in providing level one through level three support, showcasing an ability to troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve issues efficiently and effectively.
    • Solid understanding of web development technologies and frameworks, preferably including Spring Framework and React.js.
    • Experience with Java, Typescript, and the ability to develop and troubleshoot RESTful services.
    • Knowledge of modern authorization mechanisms, such as JSON Web Token (JWT).
    • Familiarity with database technologies (e.g., PostgreSQL, MongoDB) and proficiency in SQL/NoSQL databases.
    • Proficient in using common front-end development tools like Babel, Webpack, NPM, etc.
    • Exceptional problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail and an inquisitive mindset that drives you to thoroughly understand the systems you work with.
    • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities, with a passion for digging deep into technologies and methodologies.
    • Knowledge of distributed computing, such as Kubernetes, EKS, Spark, is beneficial.
