    About the role:

    An exciting, ongoing opportunity to join Box Hill Institute as one of our Quality Business Partners

    The Quality Business Partner role supports the accreditation, design, development, delivery and evaluation of innovative, customised, high quality VET by Box Hill Institute. This role is positioned within the Academic Governance Team to consistently work with key business stakeholders in driving and supporting a quality culture.

    This role is integral to the business as we continue to evolve and ensure our quality education becomes business as usual. This role requires strong stakeholder management skills and an ability to work autonomously as a partner to the business.

    The role of the Quality Business Partner is to ensure the provision of high-quality VET programs, professional teaching and learning to BHI VET students, with a strong focus on:

  • Supporting the implementation of self-assurance and compliance with the Standards for RTO 2015, TAFE VET funding Contract and National Code 2018.
  • Providing oversight, advice and assistance for planning, conducting, evaluating and assessing quality VET programs to ensure compliance with statutory, regulatory and BHI requirements
  • Ensuring all resources and documentation for accredited training are of the highest quality and comply with all statutory, regulatory and BHI requirements
  • Independent assessment validation and moderation of completed student work; and
  • Administrative support for ASQA, VRQA, VCAA, Skills First and CRICOS audits, accreditation, registration and reporting.
  • Awareness and support for both academic and corporate compliance including Privacy, Copyright, OHS, ICT, Finance, DTF (Department of Treasury and Finance) Standing Directions, HR and Child Safety.
  • This position will disseminate quality information to relevant Faculty Leadership Teams, attend delivery and course advisory meetings, and support the Institute's local response to audits, reviews and requests for quality information as required.

    You will interact with Course Coordinators and Program Managers to ensure high quality programs are developed, monitored and continually improved in compliance with the Standards for RTOs 2015 and Skills First Funding Contract.

    About You:

  • AQF Level 6 or above in adult education
  • Qualifications and or experience in VET compliance audits
  • Academic leadership expertise plus experience in compliance audits and new course set up for delivery of quality training to domestic VET and international inbound students enrolled in VET courses. Experience in the registration and / or re registration of RTOs is advantageous
  • Experience in compliance management and effective use of compliance management systems. Demonstrated success in establishing, review and continuous improvement of compliance frameworks, policies, practices and processes
  • Demonstrated experience in developing and responding to internal and external quality and compliance audit programs including planning, preparation, participation, reporting, review through to sign-off and completion
  • Encourages new and different approaches and solutions that will deliver long term benefits beyond client expectations, challenges and supports others to deliver outstanding service and to deliver continuous improvement effectively managing risk
  • Listens and delivers on client needs, actively seeks new ways to continuously improve services to deliver high quality outcomes for clients and building trusting relationships.
  • Proven success in working with VET trade teachers and management is desirable
  • High level ability to solve problems, can anticipate potential problems and pre-empt actions, liaises with stakeholders analysing issues and proposing workable and positive solutions
