About the opportunity
Due to the continued success and growth of New Cold, we are currently seeking an experienced Project Director.

This position reports into and supports the Program Director, (who leads the overall program), this role is responsible for the delivery of one large scale project at a time.

Significant experience in contract management.

Experience in project delivery within engineering, construction and or automated environments with substantial exposure to tenders, design, costing, estimating, and planning.

Project management that involves high level extensions and new facilities, through to installation of automated equipment and implementation of complex software and engineering components.

Management of, and collaboration with the Project team to deliver the project.

Highly developed communication and interpersonal skills with a proven ability to consult, negotiate, influence, and develop effective relationships with a variety of key stakeholders.

What you bring:
Relevant tertiary qualifications in engineering, automation or similar discipline preferred.
Demonstrated capability of identifying innovative concepts for solutions to technical, complex issues.
Competent understanding of Australian and International codes and standards and risk and contingency assessments.
Experience in the delivery of projects using complex software and engineering requirements within an automated environment.
Well demonstrated reporting and financial management expertise.
Strong references from previous employers and client sponsors.
High energy levels to ensure project delivery and turnaround success.
Natural team building skills.

High level of written and verbal communication skills and the ability to consult and negotiate with a diverse range of stakeholders.
