    Job Description

    • Join us as the Senior Automation Engineer, where you will assist the maintenance manager and mentor junior engineers to:
    • Design, create, and deploy PLC-based automation solutions to streamline manufacturing processes and boost productivity.
    • Collaborate with diverse teams to grasp automation needs and convert them into efficient technical answers.
    • Undertake PLC programming, issue resolution, and upkeep to ensure peak performance and dependability of automation setups.
    • Thoroughly test and validate automation solutions to confirm adherence to specified requirements and efficiency.
    • Offer technical assistance and training to operational teams for the optimal use of automation systems.
    • Keep abreast of new tech and industry trends in automation to pinpoint chances for ongoing enhancement and creativity.
    • Since a majority of our PLCs are Allen Bradley, proficiency in this area is highly valued.

    The Ideal Candidate

    • Holder of a degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
    • At least 5 years of experience in automation engineering in the FMCG sector, emphasizing PLC programming and implementation.
    • Skilled in programming PLCs using languages like ladder logic, structured text, and function block diagram.
    • Thorough understanding of industrial automation protocols and standards (e.g., Profibus, Modbus, Ethernet/IP).
    • Experience with HMI/SCADA systems and their integration with PLCs for data display and monitoring.
    • Demonstrated capability to address complex automation issues, troubleshoot system malfunctions, and implement effective resolutions.
    • Outstanding communication abilities and the knack for fruitful collaboration with cross-functional teams.
    • Proven expertise in project management, efficiently organizing tasks and meeting deadlines.
    • Dedication to safety, quality, and continual enhancement across all automation engineering domains.
