    Diesel Mechanic - Field Service Technician

    We seek an experienced Diesel Mechanic to join our team in Sydney.

    Responsibilities:

    1. Perform preventative maintenance, repairs, and diagnostics on diesel-powered construction equipment.
    2. Conduct engine overhauls, rebuilds, and replacements as needed.
    3. Identify and diagnose issues using computerized diagnostic tools and other equipment.
    4. Inspect, troubleshoot and repair hydraulic, electrical, and pneumatic systems.
    5. Ensure compliance with safety protocols and regulations.
    6. Communicate effectively with customers and provide exceptional customer service.
    7. Maintain accurate and complete service records.

    Candidate Requirements:

    To be considered, candidates should come from a heavy equipment service background within any relatable industry.

    If you've worked in a trade role involving construction equipment, mining, forestry, access equipment, forklifts, generators, compressors or any other relevant equipment, we want to speak with you.

    The key candidate criteria include:

    1. A relevant Trade Qualification of Heavy Diesel Mechanic or Light Vehicle Mechanic.
    2. Proven experience working on earthmoving equipment, access equipment, ag equipment or trucks.
    3. Strong mechanical, hydraulic and diagnostics skills.
    4. Ability to navigate computer programs for diagnostics and troubleshooting.
    5. Excellent customer service and communication skills.
    6. Ability to prioritize and manage time effectively.
