- Perform preventative and breakdown maintenance in a timely, cost-effective manner
- Proactively identify, diagnose and repair breakdowns
- Actively participate and assist in equipment upgrades and installations
- Participate in Toolbox Talks, actively taking part to resolve operational and WHSE issues
- Identify and maintain the maintenance spare parts and consumables inventory.
- Assisting in ensuring regular maintenance programs are carried out in accordance with the maintenance plans
- Fault finding and troubleshooting to limit downtime and improve the operational effectiveness of the factory
- Demonstrated experience in a similar role
- Trade Qualified in a Mechanical discipline
- Demonstrated safety knowledge and compliance in a manufacturing environment eg Performing Take 2's, writing Job Safety Environmental Analysis / Safe Work Method Statements / Work instructions, Issuing permits.
- Ability to follow plans and schedules
- A proactive and flexible approach – nothing is a hassle for you
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Current licenses / tickets including working at heights, confined space, EWP and dogging / rigging certification will be highly regarded.

Reporting into the Maintenance Manager, your role is to provide effective maintenance and repair of plant and equipment to achieve agreed plant performance levels including availability, reliability, cost, safety, and quality.
