- Repair and maintenance of fixed plant within the Lead Smelter
- Undertaking preventative maintenance and breakdown repairs on fixed plant equipment such as conveyors, hydraulic and pneumatic operated machinery feed conveyors
- Troubleshooting and performing regular maintenance on machinery, diagnosing and repairing any faults
- Repairing and replacement of HP waterlines and Airlines throughout our plant
- Checking assembled parts as per OEM specifications and making safe adjustments
- Use specialised tooling to construct , maintain or repair mechanical parts and machinery
- Precision measuring parts and components for constructing and maintaining machinery following detailed drawings
- Operating specialised tools to manufacture parts
- High and safe quality of work conducted and maintained
- Trade qualifications – Fitter and Turners/Mechanical Engineering
- Current manual driver's license
- Experience within mining/heavy industry environment will be highly regarded
- Ability to think logically and solve problems when required
- Flexible in terms of rosters and possible changes to roster when required as per business needs
