    SAP Australian User Group Inc ( SAUG ) is a strategic partner of the Australian SAP community and our mission is to help all our stakeholders achieve their business goals by gaining the insights and influences required to utilise and improve SAP and close the gap between strategy and execution.

    Since 1998, SAUG's mission is to provide a unified voice to influence SAP and enable our vibrant community to leverage SAP for success.

    SAUG members include public and private organisations, associations and some of Australia's largest companies and Government departments.

    SAUG is currently searching to fill a full timeHead of Business Developmentposition located in North Sydney to provide leadership and support to grow and continually enhance our value offering to our stakeholders.

    The position is based in North Sydney, NSW and offers an annual salary of $110,000.

    This role includes the following key responsibilities:

    Provide leadership and support to grow and continually enhance our value offering to our stakeholders, by nurturing the user group's existing productive partnerships and leading the strategic planning and development of new and innovative business opportunities.

    Plan and develop goals for membership and revenue growth.
    Direct and coordinate strategies to meet membership and revenue growth goals.
    Research, plan, and implement new target market initiatives, pursue leads and move them through the membership sales cycle.
    Provide ongoing knowledge updates and drive programs with members to manage their needs for innovation and SAP transformational journeys.
    Deliver regular reports on strategy progress and outcomes.
    Represent SAUG as a key interface with members, event attendees, SAP employees and other external stakeholders.
    Lead Business Development initiatives.
    Provide strategic leadership to increase membership and revenue.
    Drive growth and service innovation.
    Monitor the impact of domestic and international trends and incorporate where appropriate into strategy implementation.
    Translate strategies into actionable plans to increase impact & extend reach.
    Provide ongoing support for achieving specific strategy outcomes.
    Coordinate regular reviews with management, adjusting strategic priorities as needed.

    Build strong relationships and provide a key point of contact for members, event attendees, SAP employees and other external stakeholders dealing with SAUG.


    Skills and experience required for the position:
    Master's degree in Economics/Commerce or similar
    Min.
    3 years experience, networking at a senior level and working with executives in the technology sector in the areas of strategic planning, business development, international communications, driving and managing change
    Experience communicating with German Executives and building trusted relationships
    demonstrates the drive, determination and commitment to achieve consistently excellent results despite difficulties and without being diverted by irrelevant issues
    conveys ideas and information, (in writing, in presentations and verbally), clearly and in a manner fitting to the audience.
    Listens and is responsive to the views, ideas and emotions of others
