- End-to-end payroll processing for approximately 400 employees across fortnightly and monthly pay cycles
- Calculating payments in line with Enterprise Agreement, Awards, Legislation, and any other contractual obligations
- Review, scrutinise, and prepare Payroll Upload Data working files (e.g. Leave, Timesheets)
- Set Up, Update, and Maintain Employee files
- Maintain payroll working files, spreadsheets, and registers
- Email inbox management
- Providing exceptional customer service and support to staff and management on general payroll related queries
- Investigate and resolve payroll queries in a timely manner
- Undertake any other duties, as directed by the Payroll Manager
- Prepare any related statutory reports and payments
- Liaise with internal and external stakeholders and reporting entities (e.g. ATO, Centrelink, Superfunds, ADP)
- Adhoc admin tasks
- Cross train and provide Payroll support across Civica ANZ entities
- Ensure all confidentialities are assured in all matters pertaining to Payroll and Personnel
- Attention to detail
- Intermediate/Advanced Excel skills
- Experience working with Enterprise Agreement Award schedules
- Sound working knowledge of ADP payroll system or similar
- Work in a timely and efficient manner
- Process large volumes of work while maintaining a high level of accuracy and service
- Experience with high volume manual review processing, verification and correction of data
- Excellence in provision of services to all stakeholders

Role Purpose
In a cross-functional role, the Payroll Officer is responsible for full end-to-end payroll processing for approximately 400 fortnightly EBA staff, and 500 monthly staff across the Civica business.
The role will require you to work in a demanding and fast-paced environment with strict deadlines. This is the ideal role for a self-starter, a problem solver and someone who has impeccable attention to detail.
