The Opportunity

This newly created Payroll position will be at the forefront of new process implementation and initiatives, business partnering with the finance and people & culture function, as well as payroll processing when required.

The Challenge

Reporting to the Financial Controller, your responsibilities will include:

• Stakeholder management and engaging with people across the organisation
• Identify and implement payroll processing efficiencies within the payroll team
• Regularly review, update and document payroll processes
• Examine all payroll systems and control procedures to identify areas of improvement
• Business partner with the Finance and People & Culture team
• Actively participate in payroll projects and ensure robust testing prior to implementation
• Create and enhance payroll reporting capabilities across the organisation
• Manage FBT reporting requirements and monitor employee FBT threshold compliance
• Assist with the annual year-end audit
• Cover monthly and fortnightly payroll processing as required
• Assist with answering team member queries in a timely manner

The Expertise

Please consider expressing interest in this position if you possess the following:

• Ideally, you have 5+ years payroll experience
• Strong stakeholder management skills and the ability to work in a team
• Importantly, you will have experience implementing systems and processes
• You must have experience processing end to end payroll
• A passion for the NFP space would be advantageous
• High attention to detail and excellent communication skills are required
