    Casual Disability Support Workers

    About Us

    Cocoon SDA Care provides support staff to NDIS-registered providers. Our houses offer our participants a place they can call home, whilst encouraging independence and lifestyle choices that suit their individual needs.

    The Role

    • We are seeking permanent or part-time Disability Support Workers who have experience in supporting participants with high complex needs.
    • As a support worker, you will work in Supported Disability Accommodation to support those with medical needs and manual handling requirements to live in an environment that maximises personal growth and independence.

    Your Key Responsibilities

    • Supporting participants with complex care and high physical needs.
    • Managing challenging behaviours.
    • Providing online and on-the-job training.

    Mandatory Requirements

    • Certificate III in Individual Support Disability, Aged care or equivalent.
    • First Aid, CPR, Manual Handling, and Medication Administration training or willing to obtain.

    • National Disability Insurance Scheme NDIS Worker Screening check.
    • Working with Children Check.

    Requirements

    • $65,000 - $85,000 per annum (dependent on qualifications and experience).
