    Job Description

    As the AAA Psychology team is rapidly growing, we are seeking a dedicated Provisional Psychologist to enter our supportive, respectful and professional workplace within in NDIS space.

    You will be working within a passionate multi-disciplinary team located in Penrith, which includes Occupational Therapists, Speech Therapists, Behaviour Support Practitioners, and Exercise Physiologists.

    Full-Time and Part-time (min. 3 days) positions are available.

    At AAA, the Provisional Psychologist's primary role is to support NDIS participants in line with AHPRA and NDIS regulations and client goals.

    Responsibilities will include:

    • Provide high quality therapeutic evidenced-based and client-centred interventions in a professional, confidential and culturally safe manner.
    • Undertake comprehensive assessments (using clinical observations and standardised assessments) and interpret findings to formulate treatment goals.
    • Be responsible for supporting and managing your case load.
    • Support Participants and other stakeholders to develop and review support plans.
    • Collaborate with other Health Professionals and key stakeholders regarding client's care.
    • Complete case notes, reports and other correspondence in line with required standards, relevant legislative requirements and ethical guidelines.
    • Attend monthly team meetings, and team led in-services.

    *** Engage in weekly internal supervision with the Team Leader ***

    Qualifications

    Selection criteria:

    To be considered for this role, you must have:

    • Current registration with AHPRA as a Provisional Psychologist.
    • A high standard for of professional ethics
    • Working with Children's Check and Police check
    • Drivers License (minimum Provisional) and access to own car
