    About the Project

    Abergeldie is delivering a major upgrade at the Mardi Water Treatment Plant (WTP) for Central Coast Council.

    The project was awarded following a thorough Early Contractor Involvement process.

    During this process, Abergeldie identified value engineering opportunities.

    The upgrade aims to improve the plant's capacity to provide safe drinking water.

    This will support the growth of the Central Coast region while also fulfilling inter-region transfer commitments.

    About the Opportunity

    This role is ideal for an experienced Construction Worker looking to take the next step into a hands-on Leading Hand position.

    Based on Central Coast, NSW, you will report to the site supervisors and assist in coordinating daily site tasks.

    You'll work closely with the crew, ensuring that projects run smoothly, while still being involved in practical, hands-on work.

    Responsibilities:

    • Supporting the site supervisors in coordinating tasks for the team.
    • Ensuring the upkeep of the site, including maintaining roadways, sediment control, and general site maintenance.
    • Promoting and maintaining safety.

    What You'll Bring to the Team

    • Extensive experience in a similar role.
    • Structural/civil background.
    • Excavator ticket (highly advantageous).
    • Current driver's licence (essential).
    • WHS General Induction Card (White Card).
    • Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and drug/alcohol screening prior to placement.
    • Full working rights in Australia (Essential).
