    NES Fircroft are working with Woodside Energy seeking a Master Data Accountant to join their Finance Function and support a range of accounting activities.

    Location: Perth CBD
    Length of Contract: Initial 6 month contract
    Roster / Hours: Monday to Friday 7.5 hour days
    Start Date: ASAP (April 2024)


    Responsibilities:

    Working from Woodside Energy's state-of-the-art building in Perth CBD, you will work closely with various finance teams. Typical duties and responsibilities will include:

    • Assist the finance business with master data creation, validation and maintenance of costing
    • Work independently to organise and prioritise demands, handle multiple tasks simultaneously, set and meet deadlines
    • Ensure work is compliant with all statutory requirements, including tax, SOX and audit compliance and Woodside Code of Conduct
    • Ensure effective record keeping and audit trail of business records and communications.


    Skills & Experience:

    To be successful in this role, you will need demonstrated experience in an accounting / finance / bookkeeping capacity.

    Accounting qualifications are not mandatory, although you may be studying towards an accounting qualification or professional certification. A working knowledge of SAP or similar ERP is of benefit.

    Ideally you will be able to demonstrate knowledge and experience in one or more of the following areas:

    • Master Data Management – creation, validation and maintenance of costing and general ledger master data;
    • SOX activities – SOX control compliance, and SOX control testing support;
    • Cost Accounting – understanding of cost allocation processes
    • Fixed Assets – understanding of fixed asset master data
    • Joint Venture Accounting – understanding of Joint Venture Accounting
