    About the Role:

    SoftLabs is seeking Loadand Capacity Testers for ICT Labour hire at their technology consulting based inACT.

    Testing Services Requirements:

    The following high-level types of testingand activities will be required.

    • Performance, Stress and Volume Testplanning and execution
    • Stress and Volume Test execution
    • Develop and present Test Summary Reports
    • Support Performance Tuning activities
    • Support development of in-house testingcapability
    • Support remediation activities requiringtest
    • Performance validation of new systemsand/or major changes to systems; and
    • Contribute to systemdesign to proactively optimise system performance

    Requirements/ Capacity:

    • Able to write customs scripts to integratewith a range of AEC systems, including those listed in 'Typical Systems to be tested',above.
    • The respondent will test using a loadtesting tool including the ability to supply more than 15,000 usersconcurrently to stress test AEC systems.
    • Generate test data sets for testingappropriate to the system.
    • Test systems both inside and outside of theAEC's normal business hours so not to impact business users and infrastructure.
    • Perform multiple cycles and iterations oftesting.
    • Integration Tested.
    • Perform 'business process recovery' and'virtual tally room' testing.
    • Perform knowledge transfer of the testingprocesses involved such as supplying video overview and documentation for eachof the tests, as needed.
    • Provide guidance on system targetbenchmarks and throughput.
    • Attend regular meetings with projectmanagement teams, stakeholders, technical resources.
    • Track, audit, log and report the inputs andoutputs to each of the system being tested.

    Capability:

    • Has experience and can provide scriptswhich will need to connect to thick client systems using either ApplicationProgramming Interface (API) or User Interface (UI) based protocols, dependingon the nature of the system being tested.
    • Has the ability to conduct load andcapacity tests of both standalone systems and integrated systems where there isworkflow linking multiple systems.
    • Has the ability to receive, track, log andanalyse an external email inbox capable of handling upto 600,000 emails in a 24hour period.
    • Demonstrated ability to analyse testresults and produce test report after each system has been tested.
