The Opportunity
Partnered with our host, Gordon Brothers Industries, we are looking for an Industrial Refrigeration Apprentice who would like to start their career in a thriving industry, while completing a UEE32220 Certificate III in Air Conditioning and Refrigeration. Please note this role is working in industrial refrigeration and suits someone who is mechanically minded rather than electrical.
The position is full-time and based in Acacia Ridge.
Job Details
Gordon Brothers Industries is an industry leader in industrial refrigeration and has been providing design, construction, servicing, and parts to clients Australia-wide for over 100 years. They deliver solutions that are reliable, cost effective, safe, energy efficient and environmentally conscious.
The work is predominantly site work and will include the occasional night away to complete work that is not in Brisbane.
You will be mentored by industry professionals while completing a blend of on-the-job training and theory coursework and working all over the Brisbane region.

About You
You must have good mechanical aptitude, excellent communication skills, the ability and confidence to ask questions, a positive attitude, and a keen interest in mechanical workings.
If you are someone who likes to tinker with mechanical applications or work on your car, have some hand and power tool experience or maybe have completed a Certificate II in Engineering that would be looked upon favourably, as this role is very mechanically orientated.
