An exciting opportunity exists for a qualified and experienced Extruder Operator (or someone with the ability to obtain qualifications and experience) based at CopRice Leeton.

The successful candidate will be part of a dynamic team and responsible for the efficient and safe operation of the Extruder and ancillary equipment of the Extrusion plant, ensuring production requirements are met on a daily basis.

You will bring with you the following knowledge:

• • Mechanical/Fitter Trade qualifications or equivalent industrial experience
  • Education Level Year 12 or equivalent
  • Boiler Attendant Qualification or willingness to obtain.
  • Experience in extruder operations (preferred)
  • Experience in a human or animal nutrition production environment (preferred)
  • Current Australian Driver's License
  • Forklift licence

Your previous experience as an Extrusion Operator in a manufacturing environment and your ability to role model uncompromised commitment to safety will be valuable to this role.

Required Competencies include:

• Lifting, reaching, standing, stooping, and bending is required throughout the shift.
• Manual dexterity and ability to use hand tools.
• Ability to learn new processes quickly and trouble shoot difficulties whilst maintaining quality standards.
• Competent computer skills
• Strong interpersonal and verbal/written communication skills with the ability to work effectively with a wide range of internal customers/team members.
