About the role

Based in Adelaide the capital city of South Australia with its Mediterranean lifestyle, excellent facilities and affordable accommodation we are currently looking for a Workshop Manager to join our team.

With significant sales, major workshop and facility renovation and expansions on the horizon we require an experienced manager to coordinate and direct the service department technicians for maximum efficiency and productivity. While overseeing all service repair work to ensure the highest quality of customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

• Management of day-to-day workshop operations.
• Lead by example in driving a safety culture and complete safety requirements for the workshop.
• Manage, direct and supervise the workshop team of Technicians and Apprentices and provide coaching to develop team member skills and technical competence.
• Ensure customers receive the best quality service by ensuring that all jobs are completed correctly the first time.

Ideally, the successful candidates will have the following:

• Heavy Vehicle trade qualified.
• Sound knowledge of service department workings.
• Prior experience as a Workshop Manager.
• HR / Full License.
• Understanding of products and services necessary to perform duties and tasks as a Workshop Manager.
• Sound knowledge in repair and maintenance concepts, troubleshooting, repair methods and techniques, vehicle technical aspects, tools, and equipment.
