    Welcome to the Finance Team

    As one of the largest Finance functions in Corporate Australia we provide opportunities across Corporate Finance, Shared Services, Commercial Finance, Capital Management, Financial Control, Operations Finance, Project Finance, M&A and Strategy and Planning.

The Woolworths Group Finance team is positioned to support change and continuous improvement across the business whilst continually focussing on providing excellent customer experiences to key stakeholders.

    What you'll do

    • Prepare, review and investigate divisional trading results and support business unit finance teams with insightful reporting of the gross profit result and balance sheet to business unit teams.
    • Ensure reconciliations are prepared effectively, provide clear description of outstanding items, have appropriate supporting documentation and an action plan for resolution.
    • Maintain subject matter expertise in your business units and accounting processes.
    • Lead and coordinate internal acceptance testing and verification of the Technology solution testing
    • Partner effectively with key stakeholders to deliver value for the business.

    What you'll bring

    • Strategic Management - Project Management: Implements effective tools and practices to deliver Project outcomes on time, to budget, and in a collaborative manner.
    • Financial Acumen - Business Planning: Ability to step back and see the "big picture" and review the outcome for inconsistencies even within limited timeframes.
    • Strategic & Commercial Thinking - Commerciality: Make and act on complex commercial decisions, and coach and guide others on doing so from both a customer, commercial and business perspective.
    • Agile & Growth Mindset - Innovative Thinking: Demonstrate courage to innovate and think creatively to improve productivity, engagement, and organisational effectiveness end-to-end
