    About the Role As part of Zenith's in-house Engineering & Design team the Control System Engineering Lead will contribute to the design, installation, commissioning and operation of hybrid (renewable and thermal) off grid power systems in the MW capacity range.


    Your main responsibilities will include:
    Lead the selection, design, development, programming and commissioning of the Master control systems.

    Review the control system design for each of the vendor packages, e.g., Gas and Diesel Generators, HV Switchboard and RMU/Kiosks, Bulk fuel (gas and diesel) systems, Balance of plant equipment, Hybrid system master controllers (e.g.

    Battery system master PLC).
    Provide advice and support for advanced Fault finding and analysis of power generation equipment and associated ancillary equipment.
    Be involved with the development of commissioning plans, ITPs & ITRs Assist with Planning and Scheduling of work activities.

    This position is based at our 'State of the Art' Rivervale offices with travel to sites required for the commissioning stage of the projects.

    About You As the Control Systems Engineering Lead you will have the following experience, knowledge, and skills to bring to the role.

    Experience Experience in design and commissioning of Hybrid Island power stations, thermal and renewables.
    Experience in programming COMAP controllers and intelimonitor.
    Experience in programming SEL RTAC and Protection Relays.
    (Highly desirable).
    Familiar with SCADA and remote monitoring control systems.
    Experience with Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS).
    Experience with PV farms and inverters.

    Experience in PLC programming (Koyo, Click & Domore) (Highly desirable)10 + years Qualifications & Clearances Tertiary qualifications in Engineering or related fields such as Certificate III or IV in Instrumentation or Certificate III in Electrotechnology Ability to pass a National Police Clearance and Pre-employment Medical.
