Zenith Connected Energy is responsible for the development and operation of our expanding portfolio of grid connected assets, which include microgrids at Peel Business Park, Ocean Reef Marina, and Eglinton Village.

About the Role

The Commercial Manager will be responsible for supporting Connected Energy in aspects of commercial practices including compliance, reporting and financial process including;

• Create and maintain, through continuous improvement, contract templates for Zenith Connected Energy
• Lead commercial negotiations of the Project Deed between Zenith Connected Energy and the Client.
• Coordinate and support the identification and procurement of insurance as prescribed by Project Deed
• Coordinate the activities required to satisfy conditions precedent arising from Project Deeds
• Coordinate and manage Energy Supply Agreements
• Coordinate, analyse, and present customer electricity pricing offers.
• Coordinate to successful completion the ERA license application for the project development opportunities.
• Coordinate Future Stage Activities with counsel and consultancies such as Commercialisation of Network Augmentations (CMD Augmentations)
• Prepare investment cases and business proposals

About You

As the Commercial Manager, you will have the following experience, knowledge, and skills to bring to the role.

Experience

• Commercial experience in energy-regulated operations, desirably in grid-connected transmission operations.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

• Strong interpersonal skills to build relationships with all stakeholders, management and the broader team
• An ability to problem solve, and think clearly, creatively and analytically.
• Strong administration skills - organised, thorough, systems-orientated with attention to detail.

Qualifications & Clearances

• Bachelor of Commerce, Business, Law or related field
• Ability to pass a National Police Clearance and Pre-employment Medical.
• Right to work in Australia.
