- Oversee and administer Multicultural Affairs Queensland's records management and information systems.
- Effectively manage and ensure compliance with relevant human resource, financial management and other standards, policies and legislation relevant to the operations of the department.
- Lead the provision of effective cost centre management through the development, maintenance and review of financial management systems, including activities such as processing invoices for payment, corporate card management, monitoring cost centre expenditure, ensuring accountability for monies received and paid, and preparing budget estimates, forecasts and reconciliation.
- Effectively liaise, negotiate and consult with management and staff to ensure the efficient and effective delivery of administrative support services as well as liaise with people at all levels internal and external to the organisation.
- Provide leadership in the delivery of financial, human resource, operational, equipment and facility services within the context of the department's strategic plan.
- Develop and maintain management information systems and records management systems to provide relevant information to the Director and Executive Director.
- Provide human resource support to Multicultural Affairs Queensland by undertaking activities such as maintaining establishment documentation, providing basic HR advice and applying legislation.

The position will support the Executive Director, Multicultural Affairs and Engagement while promoting and applying administrative policies and practices and recommend change and revision to enhance efficiency and the quality and coordinating administrative, financial and human resources activities.
The role reports to the Manager, Business Services.
