    The trade team at THE ICONIC play a vital role in transforming buying and planning priorities into a seamless and cohesive promotional strategy across our owned & paid marketing channels. By balancing a commercial and customer lens, I make data-driven decisions to ensure our promotional plans are executed to achieve business objectives.

    As the Trade Specialist you will report to the Head of Commercial Trade. You play an important role in driving sales and improving customer engagement through targeted marketing efforts. By analysing market trends and developing effective strategies, you ensure THE ICONIC stays competitive and achieves sales goals.

    About The Role

    • Providing accurate analysis and reporting for our trade and promotional activities. Including but not limited to:
      • Weekly sales performance reporting and analysis of any unexpected variances and reporting on finding
      • Support in the drafting of weekly Exec Trade Review Memo
      • Ad-hoc analysis and deep-dives - especially across channels and different promo tactics / mechanisms
    • Supporting weekly promotional planning and execution as well as tactical / reactive trade initiatives. Including:
      • Roll up and monitoring of SKU and stock required for key promotions, updating the Head of Commercial Trade of any risks or concerns
      • Creating campaigns for our business models (Retail and Marketplace) and uploading SKUs to feature in these campaigns.
      • Creating and reviewing marketing briefs for creative and engagement marketing teams, Managing the execution of the offers / initiatives in order to ensure we deliver against our Trade goals
      • Work with channel owners to secure / confirm appropriate support across promos / initiatives
    • Identification of risks and opportunities, providing suggestions, solutions or actions
    • Monitoring and tracking of our competitors promotional activity
    • Contributes to team meetings, by challenging/ highlighting risk and/ or opportunity
    • Supporting Category Buyers and planners with any queries they may have on a brand, a customer or sales for example
    • Contributes to team meetings, by challenging/highlighting risk and/ or opportunity
    • Maintenance of existing Tools and Reports, development and input into design of new tools and reports
