    Physiotherapist – Senior Clinician
    Pulmonary Rehabilitation and Outpatient Respiratory Programs
    Permanent Part time

    About the Role

You will have the opportunity to further develop your clinical leadership skills by supervising junior physiotherapists, AHA's and students as well as involvement in quality improvement projects.

    • Are you an enthusiastic and experienced Physiotherapist who can provide clinical leadership for our Pulmonary Rehabilitation and Outpatient Respiratory programs
    • Have the opportunity to work closely with our Respiratory Consultants managing a wide variety of conditions including COPD, Bronchiectasis, Progressive Neuromuscular Disorders, community Tracheostomy and some of our regional Cystic Fibrosis clients
    • Lead high functioning teams as an experienced respiratory physiotherapist across outpatient settings, including pulmonary rehabilitation and outpatient programs.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Support the Manager of Physiotherapy & Exercise Therapy to enhance team building and excellence and provide a leadership role within the team and Allied Health
    • Be able to use advanced knowledge and skills for comprehensive assessment and management of clients with complex needs, including modalities of airway clearance, chronic disease management and dysfunctional breathing.
    • As a clinical leader, you will provide support for undergraduate, grade 1 and grade 2 staff from physiotherapy and exercise physiology disciplines. Clinical supervision of AHA's may also be required.

    Skills & Experience

    • Registered as a Physiotherapist with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency
    • Demonstrated ability to identify, implement and review quality improvement activities, and positively influence change as required
    • Demonstrated experience, including considerable experience in Cardiac and/or Pulmonary physiotherapy clinical service provision and preferably a post-graduate qualification in the relevant clinical area of practice
    • Demonstrated ability to develop and empower others through supervision, modelling and training.
    • Demonstrated initiative to lead and develop a service, engaging effectively with consumers and key stakeholders
