    Multiple positions including full-time and part-timeavailable based in Launceston.
    These positionswill commence 1st July 2024.

    Anglicare provides the Housing Connect Front Door Service across Tasmania.
    Housing Connect is the entry point for assistancefor people who are experiencing homelessness or are in housingneed.

    About the Role:


    We are seeking a highly organised person with attention todetail and excellent communication skills to perform an essentialadministrative role in the Housing Connect Front Door Service.


    To be successful you will have:
    Well-developed administrative and organisation skills andexperience in record keeping and management
    High-level written and verbal communication skills
    Experience in dealing with a variety of stakeholders andpartners
    Good assessment and decision-making skills
    Ability to follow guidelines while also thinking outsidethe box to seek solutions
    Capacity and willingness to learn

    The Applications Management Officer:


    Performs an essential administrative function at the Housing Connect Front Door in managing enquiries and workflowsfrom the Housing Connect online portal and the walk-in Front Door.

    Provides advice and support to people seeking housingassistance with accessing services and completingapplications
    Liaise with external stakeholders and other teammembers
    Support other team members and be resilient during busywork periods.

    an attractive salary of $74,080 to $77,241

    a 7% Graduate Loading payable where you hold a degree in arelevant discipline;

    The successful applicant will be requiredto:
    provide a current Tasmanian Working with Vulnerable People Registration (employment/volunteer category) including NDISWorker Screening Check
    present an unsupervised contact with children or vulnerablepeople type National Police Check (no older than 12months);
    provide an International Police Check if you have residedfor 12 months or more outside of Australia after the age of16;

    provide a satisfactory Anglicare-assessed medical:
    provide a current provisional or full Australian Driver's Licence.
    On commencement, the successful applicant will be required toundertake our structured Safeguarding Children Trainingprogram.
