- Use a range of tools and equipment, such as centre lathes, welders, guillotines, grinders and machine centres
- Produce, fit and assemble parts
- Produce sub-assemblies and components
- Set up and adjust metal-working equipment and raw materials
- Current drivers' licence and reliable vehicle
- Passionate about the engineering industry
- Construction White Card
- Possess good physical fitness to perform manual tasks
- Previous experience or pre-vocational certificate (desirable)
- Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and urine drug screen
- A team player who is reliable and trustworthy
- Mechanically minded
- Motivated and adaptable, with a desire to learn both within a workshop and classroom environment
- All necessary Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) to perform your role efficiently and safely.

Protech SA are looking for a motivated individual to undertake a Mechanical Engineering Apprenticeship working in the maintenance team within the water/wastewater treatment plant.
This 4-year fulltime position will enable you to work full time, gain paid, practical experience and support this with study on-the-job towards a nationally recognised Certificate III in Engineering Mechanical Trade.
