    State Manager- Disability Employment Services

    Management (Community Services & Development)

    APM Employment Services is searching for a State Manager to lead and oversee the Disability Employment Services operations across Western Australia.

    As a State Manager you will be responsible for leading a team of dedicated employees, developing strategic initiatives and ensuring the delivery of high quality, compliant services to our participants.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Provide quality people and performance leadership to the Western Australian DES team, fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration and accountability.
    • Develop and implement strategic plans to achieve business objectives and drive growth in the WA Employment Services market.
    • Establish and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including government agencies, employers, community organisations and educational institutions.
    • Monitor and analyse market trends, competitor activity, and participant feedback to identify opportunities for improvement and innovation.
    • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies, maintaining the highest standards of service quality and ethical conduct.
    • Drive performance metrics, including participant outcomes, operational efficiency, and financial performance to meet or exceed targets.
    • Provide regular reporting and analysis to senior management, highlighting achievements, challenges and recommendations for improvements.

    Qualifications and Experience

    • Tertiary qualification in relevant field
    • Extensive leadership experience within the Employment Services industry (preferably DES), with a proven track record of success.
    • Strong understanding of government funded employment programs and services, including knowledge of relevant legislations and regulations.
    • Excellent communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels.
    • Strategic thinker with the ability to develop and execute effective plans to achieve organisational goals.
    • Demonstrated leadership capabilities, including the ability to motivate and inspire teams to achieve excellence.
    • Highly organised and detail oriented, with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
