    About this opportunity:

    We are seeking an experienced Enrolled Nurse to become part of our casual rostering and to support our new residential withdrawal service through the application of related nursing interventions to clients within our Therapeutic Community

    You will work closely with the Withdrawal Nurse (RN) and be responsible for supporting our residents through the withdrawal process.

    Key responsibilities

    • Guide residents through withdrawal in a non-medical setting.
    • Administer medication, maintain records, and ensure confidentiality.
    • Collaborate with clinical teams for coordinated care.
    • Network with treatment services and uphold ethical standards.
    • Contribute to quality assurance and workplace safety.
    • Support resident health needs and engage in professional development.
    • Promote child safety and inclusive practices in a diverse community.

    Essential Requirements

    • Registrayion (current) with AHPRA as an Enrolled Nursing
    • Regulation Agency) as an Enrolled Nurse.
    • Qualifications in Medication Endorsement.
    • Well-developed nursing skills, including comprehensive assessment, crisis intervention, problem-solving, conflict resolution, decision-making, goal setting, case planning, development, monitoring and evaluation.
    • Demonstrated ability to work within relevant legislative and policy nursing frameworks.
    • A good working knowledge of record keeping, privacy and confidentiality protocols.
    • Good report writing, data processing, interpersonal and communication skills.
    • Ability to effectively liaise and communicate with a wide variety of agencies and individuals at many levels.
