    What will I be doing?

    As the SAP Operations Manager you'll be responsible for cross-functional management of major incidents, problems, business continuity exercises and regular releases within the SAP Retail systems. The responsibilities include ensuring that production support issues are analysed and resolved in a timely manner, including but not limited to the functional areas of Master Data, Orders & Inventory, Sales, Logistics, Replenishment, Promotions and Pricing. You'll provides a service to the SAP product areas in coordinating and resolving incidents and proactively implementing measures to prevent future incidents. You'll also be responsible for ensuring a smooth transition into operations of new SAP solutions, working closely with the product teams.

    • Leading the resolution of cross-functional major incidents for the SAP Retail & Platforms Services, to ensure Service Delivery Targets are met and services are assured and protected.
    • Review of upcoming changes for quality and identifying the risk and impact, and mitigations.
    • Implementation planning, and coordination of SAP releases.
    • Identify and ensure that reoccurring support issues are addressed through the delivery of strategic fixes. Identification, planning, and implementation of support improvement opportunities, to further improve the service delivered to our customers.
    • Identify and ensure that operational risks within the functional domains are being remediated, and have appropriate interim mitigations in place.
    • Identify, drive, and implement improvement opportunities and standardised processes in the areas of support.
    • Acts as the escalation point, including after hours, for service related issues.

    What will I bring?

    • Experience in SAP Service Delivery and/or Operations.

    Strong relationship-building skills with the ability to negotiate and influence at all levels.

    High-level understanding of infrastructure operations.

    A collaborative and proactive approach.
