    Counselling and Career Development Officer - Call Centre Representative

    • $35ph + super
    • ASAP start, initial contract through to 26th February 2025 with likely extension

As a Counselling and Career Development Officer - Call Centre Representative, you play a crucial role in our support network, offering advice and guidance to students as they navigate their academic and career pathways.

    We seek exceptional individuals who prioritize customer service to engage with potential and ongoing students by addressing inquiries, providing information, resolving queries, and managing various administrative duties.

    This role involves quick adaptation to a fast-paced training period and immediate readiness due to its contractual nature.

    Responsibilities:

    • Responding to a high volume of student inquiries via phone, email, and online chat
    • Guiding students inquiring about courses, career paths, and educational objectives
    • Providing comprehensive information on programs, admission criteria, and career opportunities
    • Maintaining precise records of student interactions while ensuring confidentiality and privacy compliance
    • General administrative responsibilities

    Skills/Experience:

    • Prior experience in customer service or call center roles is desirable
    • Proficient in technology - quick to grasp new systems
    • Relevant credentials in counseling or career development are beneficial, along with prior experience in counseling, career development, or education advisory
    • Strong communication skills, written and verbal
    • Effective problem-solving and decision-making skills
    • Capacity for empathy and building connections with students
    • Attention to detail and excellent organizational abilities
    • Capability to work autonomously and collaboratively
