Role Overview

We are seeking an enthusiastic, capable and ambitious town planner to join our successful and largely autonomous team in Adelaide. The role will involve assisting clients and internal staff on the updated planning system and providing specific and professional advice for the progression of development applications, code amendments and strategic planning projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist clients and internal staff on the updated planning system
• Provide professional advice for the progression of development applications, code amendments and strategic planning projects
• Support business development through acumen and interest in this area

Requirements

• Tertiary qualifications in urban and regional planning (honours degree preferred)
• 3-7 years of experience in town planning
• Experience in areas such as facilitation and delivery of development applications, strategic planning, policy planning, social infrastructure analysis and community consultation
• Sound research, analysis and report writing skills
• Well-developed interpersonal skills
• Membership or eligibility for full membership of the Planning Institute of Australia
