    About the Role

Based in Roma, the position of Regional Team Assistant is an ideal opportunity for an individual with good business acumen with demonstrated resilience, effective multi-tasking ability, and flexible nature with a commitment to confidentiality and adeptness in handling diverse situations. Key accountabilities include:
  • Ensure a professional level of secretarial and administrative services including receiving incoming visitors, responding to emails, maintaining internal systems and co-ordinating site events and activities
  • Actively support the Santos commitment to Occupational Health and Safety and the Environment, by conducting standard work practices and procedures in accordance with the Santos EHSMS
  • Support Maranoa Regional Manager and team as required including: filing, reporting, accommodation bookings, IVMS administration, etc
  • Maintain kitchen and bathroom supplies, and co-ordinate contractors providing maintenance services to buildings and grounds
  • Assist with organising community engagement activities and tours of Santos field operations
  • Conduct other duties as required at the direction of the Superintendent Agricultural.
  • About You This role will suit a self-motivated person who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment where you may be exposed to a wide range of people and situations that will require you to think on your feet in order to complete tasks and priorities. Ideally you will have experience with Agricultural operations, having an understanding of what happens when dealing with land sites and various agricultural businesses.Essential experience required for this position includes:
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team environment
  • Sound knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint
  • Previous demonstrated experience in administration roles
  • High level of communication skills
  • Ability to adapt, pivot in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities
  • Open to a work environment that may at times require working on a weekend.
