    The Role
    Australian Defence College (ADC) is seeking a highly motivated Reserve Management Officer to join a small and dynamic team environment.

    Key Tasks and Responsibilities include:

    • Support the ADF Reserve Management team to achieve business goals.
    • Provide advice and guidance to all ADC staff on ADF Reserve management, including position classification, workforce planning within the Reserve Workforce.
    • Maintain accurate and up-to-date Reserve Management records, ensuring data integrity, confidentiality, and compliance with privacy and security requirements.
    • Stay abreast of relevant legislation, policies, and best practices in Reserve Workforce, and provide advice and recommendations to senior management on Reserve Management.

    About our Team
    The Business Management Directorate, within the Australian Defence College Headquarters is responsible for all day to day aspects of corporate management including budget development and in-year management, workforce management, strategic contracting and procurement, corporate governance and performance, assurance and risk management, including Work Health and Safety. Continual business improvement and reform are core organisational objectives.

    The Workforce team develop and implementation of day to day workforce management procedures, including the training and education of staff, assisting all ADC personnel with human resource management issues. They also manage the ADC Reserve capability including facilitation of training day allocations to individual reservists as nominated by the Commands and co-ordination of training day administration.
