    You will play a key role in evolving the contract logistics product and get hands on experience in leading Contract Logistics Solution Design for customer pursuits and new markets, and drive standardization and proof of concept building for automation initiatives.     Reporting to the Divisional Manager – Solution Design or Divisional Manager - Automation, this position is primarily responsible for developing warehouse design solutions for new business opportunities in partnership with business development, operations, and operations excellence teams, while supporting the standardization and proof of concept building for warehouse automation. This role is open to be based in Sydney or Melbourne.

    Key responsibilities and accountabilities:

    • Responsible for design process, layout costing and preparation of proposals to customers
    • Work in coordination with business development/technical sales, operations, and operations excellence teams to develop logistics solutions and pricing in support of new business growth
    • Attend RFI/RFP/RFQ sessions with clients and provide clarification questions as needed
    • Provide logistics quotations for customer enquiries
    • Present solutions to potential customers
    • Support existing operations for expansion costing
    • Collect data and perform statistical analysis for ad hoc project assignments
    • Coordinate with local and regional operations excellence teams, solutions design teams or suppliers for the identification of new technologies
    • Build and maintain strong strategic and operational customer relationships
    • Continuous identification of process and productivity improvements

    We are looking for:

    • A bachelor's degree in Logistics & Supply Chain Management or related discipline.
    • With experience working in a contract logistics environment; preference will be given to candidates who have vertical exposures to Fashion & lifestyle, retail and FMCG.
    • Negotiation and problem-solving expertise.
    • Strong warehouse layout/design experience having delivered key projects in an operational environment.
    • Continuous improvement mindset.
    • Proficient in creating warehouse layouts and simulation models using industry leading software and AutoCAD.
    • Excellent communication skills for stakeholder management both in a local and international setting.
    • Advanced understanding in modern distribution centre operations for different commodity / customers.
    • Understanding in e-commerce technology, local and cross border fulfilment for different commodity/customers.
    • Strong Commitment and understanding of Work Health and Safety regulations.
