    As the Finance Business Partner, you will partner with the business and provide effective planning, analysis and advice on all financial aspects within the business unit. You will develop the skills to effectively support and challenge initiatives and processes that are in place to help meet business requirements and targets. With a commercial leadership focus, the Finance Business Partner will assist The Lead FBP and Head of Finance in finding opportunities and prioritisation processes and will also have influence over the business unit strategy. This role will also support and advise the business and Lead FBP in the areas of Stewardship & Risk Management including stakeholder management, compliance policy & group management, and continuous improvement of the finance function.

    You'll have:

    • 3-5 years relevant experience
    • Financial acumen (typically gained through CPA/CA/equivalent)
    • Strong technical accounting knowledge or the ability to learn accounting concepts fast
    • Strong analytical skills with the ability to deliver clear financial analysis and advice to non-finance management teams
    • Excellent communication skills to promote collaboration across broader Commercial team as well as the broader Finance and Business community at Qantas
    • A focus on process improvement with the ability to adapt and commit to continuous improvement activities
    • The ability to Influence senior leadership decisions
