    Quickly becoming a leader in its field, Eightcap has gone from strength to strength and experiencing rapid growth. Because of this, we are looking for an Account Manager to join the team.

    The China Desk team collaborates to provide the successful candidate with a great knowledge base of the company and the broader financial services industry.

    Purpose of the Position

    Account manager will be responsible for serving the clients, ensuring on-going support and value added throughout the client's journey cycle. To convert the warm leads to new clients in order to increase our active trading account pool. Be the first point of contact to our new clients, provide all-rounded professional service. This includes answering general inquiries by multiple communication channels, using versatile selling skills for net funding, promoting products and services, liaising with all departments to resolve issues, maintaining high levels of account management and strong relationships.

    Key Responsibilities

    The duties and responsibilities set out below are not exhaustive:
    • Providing professional services to customers through all dealings.
    • Providing all relevant information to ensure the client's onboarding process smoothly.
    • Answering client's inquiries by multiple communication channels.
    • Converting the warm leads to new clients.
    • Using soft sellings, upsellings, cross-sellings skills for daily sales activities.
    • Providing general advice for assisting client's trading activities.
    • Liaising with all departments to resolve issues.
    • Maintaining a high level of account management and strong relationships with clients.
    • Work towards specific KPIs to meet the sales targets
    Skills and experience you will bring to this role
    • Mandarin and English language proficiency (Cantonese will be advantageous)
    • CFD/FX industry experience (include internship) preferred.
    • Previous exposure to client facing environments, such as sales, customer services and inbound/outbound support is a must.
    • Phone sales experience will be advantageous.
    • Excellent spoken and written communication skills.
    • Self-motivated and confident attribute.
    • Passion for the financial markets and trading industry.
    • Fast-learner and eager to learn new knowledge.
    • Comfortable making high quantities of outbound calls on a daily basis.
    • Ability to work under pressure and a fast-paced environment.
    • Ability to work towards specific KPIs to meet sales targets.
    • Ability to work individually and efficiently with teamwork spirit.
    • Excellent computer skills (Microsoft office, typing speed).
    • Previous trading and investing experience will be advantageous.
    • Prior experience in the online trading environment will be viewed favourably.
    • Educational background in Economics or Finance will be advantageous.
