  • Periodic salary increases between 1 July 2024 to 1 July 2026 totalling a 10% increase

    About Us

    The People and Culture Office (PCO) is an integral part of the business strategy and decision-making process. We are a team of collaborative HR professionals, focussing our efforts on strategic and operational programs and services that support staff and organisational objectives.

    You will sit within our Organisational Development team, where we are dedicated to creating a thriving and engaging culture through strategic interventions. Collaborating with teams within PCO and across the University, we identify opportunities, design innovative strategies, and implement solutions that shape our future.

    The Opportunity – Organisational Development Consultant

    In this dynamic role, you will be at the forefront of driving organisational development and fostering an exceptional staff experience. You will have the opportunity to work on exciting projects that build upon our vibrant staff community, all while maintaining a realistic perspective on the challenges ahead.

    Reporting directly to the Organisational Development Manager, you will be a catalyst for positive change and a driving force behind our collective success. This role is ideal for a strategic thinker with a passion for organisational development and a talent for translating insights into action.

    Your key duties will include:

  • Partner with the Organisational Development Manager to design and implement strategies boosting employee experience, engagement, recognition, and retention.
  • Conduct organisational assessments to understand strengths, needs, and areas for development.
  • Turn data into stories, recommending initiatives to enhance satisfaction, motivation, and retention.
  • Lead change management strategies, guiding teams through transformative projects and supporting stakeholders.
  • What you'll bring to this role

  • Tertiary qualifications in Organisational Development, Organisational Psychology, or a related field or equivalent experience.
  • Experience in organisational development and change management.
  • An analytical mind that loves digging into data, problem solving and exploring solutions.
  • Proficiency in project management to keep things moving, and ability to manage multiple tasks.
  • Exceptional stakeholder engagement and collaboration skills, building and maintaining relationships.
  • Strong communication skills, both written, verbal and facilitating engaging discussions.
