About the Role
We're currently on the lookout for an experienced Financial Accountant to join our vibrant and rapidly expanding team. As a dedicated advocate for accounting excellence, you'll play a vital role in providing invaluable support to our Finance department, reporting directly to the Financial Controller.
Oversee all financial accounting activities for our Australian operations, ensuring meticulous accuracy and timely preparation of financial statements, reports, and advice.
- Play an active role in contributing to the development and execution of financial strategies aimed at supporting our business objectives.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to optimise financial processes and enhance efficiency.
- Preparing monthly financial reports and analyses, managing end-of-month journals and balance sheet reconciliations, investigating and resolving accounting discrepancies, maintaining general ledger reconciliations and associated workbooks, preparing monthly management accounts for stakeholder packs, and providing support during the audit process by preparing audit workpapers and addressing audit queries.
About You
Tertiary qualification in accounting or finance.
- CA/CPA Qualification
- Big 4 Audit experience (Desirable)
- Proven expertise in corporate and manufacturing accounting, regulatory and financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, cash management, audit, and tax.
- Proficiency in ERP systems, preferably SAP.
- Exceptional time management abilities and the capacity to work independently while also thriving in a collaborative environment.
