    What you'll do:

    As an Accountant, you will play a crucial role in managing the company's financial records, ensuring compliance with regulations, and providing valuable insights for informed decision-making. You will be responsible for producing full monthly accounts, reviewing revenue with Operations Managers, understanding project status for revenue recognition, and supporting the Financial Controller as required. Your ability to review payroll, complete balance sheet reconciliations, support accounts payable, and approve bank transactions will contribute significantly to the success of the business.

    • Produce full monthly accounts including accruals, amortisation, depreciation
    • Review revenue with Operations Managers on a monthly basis
    • Understand project status and measurements for revenue recognition
    • Review payroll and provide payroll coverage when required
    • Complete and submit monthly invoices to clients
    • Prepare payroll tax monthly and complete the annual payroll tax reconciliation
    • Support and interface with external auditors
    • Complete balance sheet reconciliations and investigate anomalies
    • Support accounts payable and project support with queries
    • Approve bank transactions

    What you bring:

    The ideal candidate for this Accountant position brings a wealth of experience in managing financial records, ensuring compliance with regulations, and providing insights for informed decision-making. With a relevant university degree or equivalent experience, you are either Chartered Accounting qualified or working towards it. Your excellent relationship-building skills enable you to work effectively with all levels within the business. Your understanding of accounting principles and regulations helps mitigate any misstatement of financials. Above all, your excellent written skills allow you to communicate effectively across various platforms.

    • Possess a relevant university degree or equivalent experience
    • Chartered Accounting or working towards qualification
    • Experience in working with systems and processes relevant to the business
    • Excellent relationship building skills – able to work with all levels in the business
    • Understanding of accounting principals and regulations to mitigate misstatement of the financials

    What you'll do:
    As a Bookkeeper, you will play a crucial role in maintaining financial records, including purchases, sales, receipts and payments. You will be responsible for assigning tasks to junior bookkeepers, supervising them to ensure accuracy and timeliness. Your role will also involve performing bank reconciliations, preparing payment runs, managing the accounts email inbox, assisting with audit queries and setting up MYOB/Xero.
