    About the Role:

    As a Technical Claims Specialist, you will be part of a resilient team that works together to redefine the boundaries of excellence. Your unique skillset will be pivotal in coaching and mentoring claims staff on complex claims matters.

    • Expert Application: Utilize your specialist Workers Compensation knowledge to manage complex claims and serve as a technical reference for Case Managers and Senior Case Managers.
    • Client Support: Provide expert guidance and assistance to employer clients requiring specialized technical support.
    • Legal Liaison: Interact with and provide instructions to Legal Panel Firms on pre-litigated and litigated matters within required timeframes.
    • Communication: Keep employers, consultants, and other involved parties updated on the status of litigated matters.
    • Quality Assurance: Conduct thorough quality revisions and endorsements of adverse decisions.
    • Collaboration: Participate in case conferencing with Case Managers and attend claims review meetings to ensure comprehensive case management.
    • Strategy Development: Assist with strategy considerations and attend conciliation conferences to support effective claims resolution.
    • Mentorship: Mentor and coach team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional growth.

    About You: We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced individual with a strong background in Workers Compensation legislation and customer service. A Bachelor of Law Degree and/or industry-related qualifications are ideal but not mandatory.
