- Collaborate closely with sales executives to assist in the development and execution of sales strategies, including prospecting, lead generation, and account management
- Maintain regular communication with clients, providing exceptional customer service and addressing inquiries, requests, and concerns promptly
- Prepare and submit accurate and competitive quotations to clients, ensuring alignment with company's pricing and service standards
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date customer records, sales reports, and relevant documentation using in-house CRM system
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including operations, finance, and logistics to ensure a seamless service delivery to clients and excellent customer experience
- Address and resolve any issues or discrepancies related to shipments expectations
- Analyse customer reporting as needed
- Contribute to customer QBR preparation and delivery
- To maintain and update Freight Pricing Tariffs
- To analyse pricing requests from sales executives to offer customers the best / most economical shipping routes at the most competitive costs factoring cargo urgency and the required date of the customer
- To generate and submit daily Quotation Reports
- Strong knowledge of Freight Forwarding operations and processes.
- Experience in managing & coordinating solutions, business changes and customer projects
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in using CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and multitasking abilities
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
- Strong problem-solving skills and a customer-centric mindset
- Experience of at least 2 to 3 years in a pricing role in a freight-forwarding company (in both ocean freight and air freight) is preferred but experience of at least 4 years in handling export and import operations in the same industry is a must.
- 2+ years' experience in the Freight forwarding industry with relevant experience
- Strong mathematic skills. Comfortable analysing data in decision making to achieve desired results
- Strong Organisational and Administrative skills: Must be able to present oral and written data and conclusions in an organised manner
- Customer and client management skills
- Excellent knowledge of MS Excel intermediates to advance formulas and macros
