    About the roles:

    Melbourne's Docklands is one of Australia's largest urban renewal projects, reconnecting central Melbourne with its historic waterfront. Comprised of eight distinct precincts, Docklands continues to evolve and is home to more than 17,500 residents and 73,000 workers.

    With some areas of Docklands being master-planned and others nearing completion, there is plenty of scope for Development Managers to join the Docklands team and gain exposure to a broad range of tasks including administering development agreements, asset management, financial management, contract management, stakeholder engagement, strategic planning, placemaking and the delivery of small infrastructure and arts projects.

    About you:

    Mentoring and guiding Assistant Development Managers and working closely with the senior leadership team, you will collaborate with development partners, Government agencies and key stakeholders to achieve project milestones, targets and outcomes.

    You have the following skills and experience:

    • Bachelor degree in a construction, property development, financial or project management discipline or related industry.
    • Experience in urban development or project management.
    • You are a motivated professional who enjoys problem solving and can juggling multiple projects at once.
    • You enjoy collaborating with a range of stakeholders and are interested in opportunities to enhance your negotiation and influencing skills

    Key Responsibility

    • Oversees discrete projects within the Docklands precincts, including project initiation, budgeting, reporting and stakeholder management.
    • Manages procurement processes to support project delivery.
    • Manages internal and external project inputs including planning, design and program for allocated projects.
    • Build and foster strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to support delivery of allocated projects.
    • Collaborates with colleagues, consultants and contractors in the successful delivery of project outputs.
