- Design, build, test and deploy scalability and performance improvements to new and existing systems and infrastructure.
- Perform operational improvements including monitoring, observability, maintenance and access management, ensuring our systems are operating optimally and costeffectively.
- Work with delivery teams around the company to improve their Observability through workshops, training and consultation.
- Integrate with thirdparty solution providers to provide a robust Observability platform for our developers.
- Reduce operational toil by identifying and implementing automation opportunities.
- Comfort with software development our team's systems are based on Go and Type Script.
- You can identify and lead new initiatives, prioritising by the greatest need and highest impact, defining solutions and gaining agreement across MYOB.
- Confidence with Dev Ops principles and technologies, such as CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code and automation in a Cloud environment such as AWS.
- Experience running a robust production platform using operational constructs such as serverless (Lambda), containerisation (Docker) and container orchestration (Kubernetes).
- A companyfocused outlook a willingness to make things better for the wider company.
- A solid grasp of good Observability practices, driving initiatives across the business.
- Determination, and an ability to multitask and contextswitch.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- A desire to mentor and grow more junior members of the team.
