- Providing support with household activities such as catering, cleaning and laundry making their dignity and independence a top priority
- Paying attention to personal safety and risk management for you and our residents by using appropriate manual handling techniques and food safety
- Supporting residents in community-based recreational and social activities.
- No qualifications required, but ideally, you'll have a Certificate II in Hospitality or an equivalent qualification. If you're not currently qualified and would like to be, then we can help you get there.
- You'll have previous experience in similar position (catering / kitchenhand, cleaning or laundry services) or any other community care
- You'll be adaptable, empathetic and resourceful, and be able to live Uniting's everyday values of being compassionate, respectful, imaginative, and bold.
