    Full Job Description:

    Our client, a thriving Wealth Manager, is currently seeking an Investment Operations Analyst to join their collaborative and dynamic operations team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in supporting the Investment Operations team by effectively implementing core business processes and serving as a key link between the Investment Strategy Group (ISG) and the Operations team.

    You will liaise with a range of stakeholders, both Internal Stakeholders such as Investment Operations, Risk & Compliance, ISG Team, Advisers, Associates & Offshore teams. As well as external stakeholders such as Third-Party Service Providers, including Fund Managers, Fund Administrators, Platform providers, Brokers, FX and other banking services providers.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Assist in the investment subscriptions and commitments process.
    • Aid in ongoing key strategic projects.
    • Ensure accurate reflection of capital events on client portfolios held on platforms in a timely manner.
    • Perform quarterly reconciliations on investment records and maintain performance models, transaction events, and accurate reporting.
    • Perform and review unit pricing calculations.
    • Liaise with fund administrators, custodians, and other external service providers; AND
    • Proactively identify opportunities for process improvement.


    Skills & Experience:

    You will have 1-3 years' experience in Investment Administration and/or Investment Operations, as well as;

    • Bachelor's degree in finance, commerce, or a similar field of study
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
    • Strong numerical and analytical skills
    • Proficiency in MS Office
    • Knowledge of technology and wealth platform providers such as Netwealth, Praemium and Salesforce (desirable, not essential).
    • Ability to take accountability; AND
    • Strong attention to detail
