- Design, develop, and deploy backend microservices hosted in Azure/AWS Cloud (Azure Functions, container applications, web apps) and APIs primarily using ASP .NET Core, with C#, and .NET.
- Craft high-quality, secure, testable, maintainable code that is not over-engineered.
- Own the quality of what we build through testing, test automation, and observability to ensure operational reliability and performance.
- Analyze business requirements and problem-solve to create the right solutions for our customers.
- Participate in code reviews with other engineers to provide feedback to ensure we maintain quality standards and compliance.
- Maintain and improve our documentation across codebases, architectures, and our knowledge bases.
- Collaborate in our cross-functional Product Management and Engineering teams to plan and deliver high-quality solutions in a fast-paced, agile environment.
- Be an impactful contributor to the team, planning, designing, and building elegant solutions.
- Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in software development.
- Previous experience as a Backend Engineer.
- Proficiency in coding languages including JavaScript, Python, HTML, CSS, PHP, MSSQl, SQL, JSON, and PowerShell.
- Experience with PowerBI.
- Knowledge of operating systems and data communication.
- Familiarity with AWS.
- Experience with API integration, particularly with Tanda, BuyForce, Macomatix, Eddapp, Power BI, Iauditor, Mendrehub, Google Maps, Verkada, Chatgpt, Office 365, Redcat, and Imagtec.
- Familiarity with communication platforms and SAAS providers such as Betterchains, Shopperlogic, CrunchTime, Cooking the books, Macromatrix, Mendre Hub, Netsuite, WorldManager, Microsoft Office 365, Tanda HR, Edapp, , Sharepoint, Team Viewer, Over the Wire, FireFlies, and One Note.
