    About the role

    As the Conservation Programs Officer your primary focus of the position is to support the Conservation Programs Unit to manage conservation projects, develop operating procedures for state-wide conservation programs, provide environmental information analysis and preparation of engagement material, briefings and correspondence. You will also provide logistical and administrative support to the Conservation Programs team.

    We're looking for someone with:

    • A practical understanding of local environment, land and water priorities and issues, to contribute to planning and development of programs
    • The ability to develop and maintain relationships with stakeholders across Parks Victoria and with our partners
    • A tertiary qualification in environmental science, natural resource management or a similar discipline and/or equivalent experience
